I love enjoying a fully loaded smoothie at the weekend, especially when it is a working weekend and I have to be active all day. This is fully loaded with the right nutrients and healthy fats and sugars that will keep you energised most of the morning if not the whole day, with the addition of some healthy snacks.
1 chocolate protein powder serving (I have recently started using Pulsin’s new Chocolate Rice Protein mix which is scrumptious and nutritious)
1 cup plant based milk (I used almond milk for this for added nutrients)
1/2 tsp spirulina powder
Optional: 1/2 cup frozen berries (this is so delicious and adds a coolness to the smoothie which is great if you are on the go)
- Mix all the ingredients in a blender until smooth
- Serve in your desired glass or flask
