We all know how wonderful it would be to enjoy a delicious Yorkshire pudding with our roast on special occasions or with our Sunday roasts right? Well, after trying and failing many times to create this accompaniment, I came across an easy ‘cheat’ alternative that will NOT disappoint.
These are great to enjoy for savoury dishes as well as creating delicious sweet treats. Nowadays nearly all the supermarket ready pastry rolls are suitable for vegans. There is even a gluten free ready made pastry roll so experiment with what suits you. Enjoy!
1 packet supermarket puff pasty
- Roll out the pastry and cut out in 12 pieces
- In a greased 12 bake muffin tray, push down each piece of puff pastry and with a fork, gently fork the bottom of each pastry case
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180C for 10 minutes, making sure you check on them until they are golden brown
